TAC adopts OT Service Model Review

From 1 July 2021, the TAC will implement updates to its OT assessment and reporting tools.

From 1 July 2021, the TAC will implement updates to its OT assessment and reporting tools in line with the findings of an independent review led by the Occupational Therapy Research Group at Deakin University.

These updates are part of the TAC’s OT Service Model Review, an approach that aims to provide consistency and clarity for OTs treating TAC clients, help build upon client capabilities and better align with contemporary OT practice.

Occupational therapists can now view the updated resources on our website. TAC claims managers will direct you to the appropriate forms to use from 1 July 2021.

Benefits of these updates

These new forms will:

  • make it easier to understand the evidence and information we need
  • focus on building a client’s capabilities and supporting their independence
  • support us to make more informed decisions in line with the TAC Clinical Framework
  • allow you to complete and submit the forms electronically, leading to faster processing
